Combat Ju-Jutsu International Federation Anti-Doping Program
Our Commitment to CleanSport
The Combat Ju-Jutsu International Federation (CJJIF) is the sole governing body for Combat Ju-Jutsu worldwide. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and athlete health through our strict CleanSport policies.
CJJIF is fully compliant with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) regulations and follows the latest international standards on doping control, testing procedures, and prohibited substances. We also align with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) guidelines on ethics and fair play, ensuring that Combat Ju-Jutsu remains a sport driven by skill, discipline, and hard work—not performance-enhancing drugs.
CleanSport & Clean: Our Four Pillars of a Doping-Free Sport
CJJIF has implemented a Clean framework to promote anti-doping education, compliance, and enforcement in Combat Ju-Jutsu. This framework is built on four key pillars:
1. Clean Athletes
Every competitor is responsible for understanding and following anti-doping rules.
The WADA Prohibited List is strictly enforced, and ignorance is not an excuse.
Regular testing and biological passport monitoring keep the sport fair.
2. Clean Coaches & Teams
Coaches, trainers, and support staff play a crucial role in keeping the sport clean.
Providing athletes with the right guidance to avoid unintentional doping.
Strict policies against supplying or encouraging the use of banned substances.
3. Clean Competitions
Every official Combat Ju-Jutsu event follows WADA-compliant testing protocols.
In-competition and out-of-competition testing ensure fair play.
Results management follows international anti-doping legal frameworks.
4. Clean Federation Governance
CJJIF maintains transparent anti-doping policies aligned with WADA & IOC.
Strict liability rules hold all participants accountable.
Any violations result in sanctions, bans, and legal consequences.
WADA Compliance & Testing Procedures
Combat Ju-Jutsu athletes are subject to:
Random and targeted drug testing at any time, in or out of competition.
Blood and urine sample collection, processed in WADA-accredited laboratories.
Biological Passport monitoring, detecting long-term doping patterns.
Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) applications for legitimate medical needs.
Ethics & Athlete Education
CJJIF actively educates athletes about CleanSport ethics through:
Workshops and online courses on anti-doping rules.
Regular updates on banned substances and new anti-doping technologies.
Personalized support for athletes to navigate supplement safety and TUE processes.
Join the Clean Movement
Combat Ju-Jutsu is about honor, skill, and true competition—not shortcuts. We urge all athletes, coaches, and officials to commit to Clean and help keep our sport free of doping.
